Faran grinned, then paused suddenly, staring across the grass at the trees.
"Look!" he whispered in awe.

The others turned to look where he was staring and everyone froze. Under the trees at the edge of the clearing, a soft glow surrounding it, stood a unicorn. It regarded them silently for a moment then bowed it's head and pawed the ground once. Aerline got carefully to her feet and approached it cautiously. It lifted its head as she approached, watching her. She stopped a few feet away and lifted both hands out in front of her then stood waiting. The unicorn eyed her, then took several cautious steps toward her. When she didn't move, the Unicorn tossed it's mane, then trotted up to where she stood, and dipped its head, touching her hands with the tip of its horn. A golden light swirled around its horn then filled her hands. She stood there, motionless, the light filling her hands like golden liquid. The unicorn lifted its head after a moment, then turned and fled back into the trees out of sight.
